We've reached a significant landmark in October 2024 - 10,000 Tuff Tanks have been sold
Plastic Solutions has reached another milestone this month as we’ve now sold 10,000 units from our Tuff Tank range. Break out the champagne!
This milestone highlights the popularity of this product, which has become a trusted solution for effective waste management. Known for their durability and reliability, Tuff Tanks are ideal for residential, commercial, leisure, glamping and construction needs.
We are now moulding with the fifth generation of tooling, a testament to continuous product refinement, but also a sign that the tools have worked very hard and have needed regular replacement as so many Tuff Tanks have been sold. Every time we make a new tool, we try to incorporate new features, responding to customers’ requests and staying ahead of the market.
But we haven’t stopped there. On the product front, although the original 500-gallon Tuff Tank remains a core product, since January 2019 it has been joined by 750-gallon and 1000-gallon versions. To keep things very simple, all spares and accessories are cross-compatible, regardless of which tank size you operate.
Customers appreciate their ease of installation and maintenance, their lightweight and robust construction and useful accessories, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

The experience we’ve gained and the customer feedback we’ve experienced over the years has allowed us to expand our range of tanks beyond the initial Tuff Tank.
In 2024 we’ve see a significant growth in sales of our vertical, cylindrical above-ground tanks for potable water, clean water, rainwater harvesting or toilet waste. With a variety of customisable accessories these tanks range from 1250 to 30,000 litres. We’re particularly pleased to see tanks going out to rental firms to harvest rainwater from their premises and use this to clean portable toilets and equipment rather than using expensive metered water from the mains.
Understanding the needs of our customers, we relaunched our shop.plasticsol.com webshop in July 2024,enhancing your digital shopping experience. We recognised the lack of online resources in the UK for common spares needed to maintain flushing toilets, sinks, and service trucks, and we're proud to fill that gap. Regardless of where you may have purchased your portable toilets, they invariably all use the same flushing pump (for example) It’s a user-friendly design with products grouped into clear categories and a superb search function. You’ll see product images, prices, quantity price bands and our stock levels…and if you have a credit account with Plastic Solutions you can bypass the normal payment process by ticking the “Purchase Order” button, automatically loading your order into our accounting systems and allowing us to despatch and invoice you in the normal manner.
