The Pee Pod II - Toilet Solutions for Events

We’ve launched an improved 4 bay urinal so event operators, suppliers and users can benefit from a portable, efficient and comfortable urinal unit.

Festivals, shows and fairs all have one particular challenge in common – how do you manage and reduce queues for loos and keep your users happy?

A lack of sufficient facilities compared with the number of attendees can create all kinds of problems. It’s not just the issue of snaking toilet queues and tetchy visitors you have to consider, there’s also the impact too many users can have on limited facilities.

As well as mess, there’s also the pressure on the facilities themselves. The last thing you need is people waiting in line for the toilet, only to be presented with something that is overused and rather unpleasant when they finally get there.

Providing urinals at any event is a sure way to keep your toilet queues down and your audience happy; freeing up portable toilets for those that need them and ensuring a quick turnaround, keeping the queues moving and reducing waiting times.

How can we help?

Using our know-how, we’ve launched an improved 4 bay urinal, The Pee Pod II. The aim of this 18-month project has been to produce a revised event urinal to satisfy event goers’ needs, designing in cost-saving economies for transport and logistics, and to ensure sanitation crews can swiftly carry out their on-site emptying and cleaning with minimal disruption. We’ve learned from our previous experiences and have listened to feedback from our customers to make our PeePod II more portable, efficient and comfortable:

For event users by

  • creating higher partitions on each corner and four recessed bays to make the whole toilet experience far more private.
  • building in a shelf on each bay corner to allow for either a liquid sanitiser bottle or drink to be placed safely.
  • reducing queueing time to promote cleaner toilets elsewhere on site.

For event operators

  • including inbuilt forklift slots for easy manoeuvring on site - a pallet is not needed for transport as the design of the pod takes fork lifting into account.
  • ensuring a lightweight shell making it easy for two people to carry and position where needed - ideal for quick and easy moving.
  • adding moulded graphics to remind operators of correct handling - meaning less damage to your unit, giving your PeePod II a longer life.

For suppliers and servicing

  • ensuring the lid(s) of the Pee Pod II can be inverted inside the base(s) to make transporting on site far easier – a reduced lifting height means a quicker set up routine and less physical strain.
  • reducing stack size. Six Pee Pods, the equivalent of 22 urinals, can be stacked and transported on one 4 ft x 4 ft pallet space, the same footprint as just one portable toilet.
  • designing The Pee Pod II  to lower transport costs by making its shape and design more compact than ever before. This creates fewer truck movements and reduces fuel costs.
  • ensuring unlimited access for ongoing servicing- three of the bays can still be in use whilst the fourth is used to empty the waste reservoir. This means your Pee Pod II unit is never out of action. Approximately 2000 people can use the Pee Pod II before an empty is needed.
