Water Transport Tanks - Horizontal

If you need to safely transport liquids or provide a waste transfer station at events, these horizontally-mounted, Liquid Transport Tanks are an ideal solution.

Used to store or transport potable and non-potable water or slurry, these tanks are available in capacities from 240 to 10,000 litres (53 to 2203 gallons). They are also configurable with a range of options including drain valves and an external pump mounting plate if you need to pump liquids in or out.

Applications will include emergency back-up drinking water supply, temporary water supply at festivals or the storage of toilet effluent (at events) until it can be disposed of at the treatment works. With WRAS-approval if requested, these tanks are specified to carry liquids up to a specific gravity of 1.5 (e.g. toilet waste / slurry). The most commonly purchased volumes are 5000 and 10,000 litres. For the transport of liquids on the open road, users generally opt for internal baffle balls to control the surge of liquids when braking and cornering.

These horizontal tanks come fitted with pin mounting points to fasten to your vehicle or to a separately specified mounting frame can also be specified, with or without a mounting plate to accept a suitable pump. A range of drainage options is available: from 2" to 4" ball valves and typically using threaded BSP fittings with camlock or Bauer connectors.
