Tuff Tank Design Features No.2 - Lifting Handles

The Tuff Tank is on it's third incarnation. Every time we release a new version it incorporates new features based on real-world requirements.

Here's the second item in our list of design features. In-built lifting handles.

At 110 kilogrammes (dry weight) the Tuff Tank is already much lighter than its metal tank equivalents (cf "Waste Tanks:Plastic vs Metal"). The trouble is that just being lighter wouldn't necessarily make it much easier to move.

That's important, because we know that our clients want mobility. On construction sites, for instance, welfare units need to follow the action and be positioned wherever the most work is taking place. Even in a yard environment plenty of time and effort can be saved if it's easy to move tank stock around.

So that's why we made a point of making lifting handles an integral part of the Tuff Tank 3 design. It means they can be man-handled off trucks and carried around sites, without the needed for lifting gear.
